How will my math and English/ESL class be determined?

For students enrolling in math and/or English in Fall 2019, assessment testing will no longer be required for students to be placed into English and math courses. All students are now eligible to enroll in transfer level math and English courses with varying levels of support recommended based on high school GPA, educational goal, and other information. Assessment testing into English as a Second Language (ESL) courses will continue for students who are not native speakers of English and who have not graduated from an American high school.

For students enrolling in math and/or English in Spring/Summer 2019, assessment testing will continue to be provided until February 14, 2019.
