Services Include

One-On-One Tutoring

Our peer writing coaches work with student writers at every stage of the writing process. Whether you’re just getting started, formatting citations, drafting, or revising, we can help.

Writing Workshops

Our faculty-led workshops are small group sessions focused on important grammar skills and elements of essay writing. Topics range from integrating quotations and crafting thesis statements to fixing run-on sentences and formatting for MLA. Hour-long workshops are held weekly on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m.

Educational Technology

Students can work on their writing skills at their own pace with LaunchPad Solo for Readers and Writers. The program is free for LACC students, and it allows students to get extra help with numerous writing topics, including critical reading, the writing process, grammar, mechanics, style, and punctuation.

Hours are Mondays and Wednesdays 9-5, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-7, and Fridays 12-3.
