We will discuss the changes taking place in public higher education as a result of the rapidly changing environment, particularly in technology. “The 21st Public Higher Education Environment – a Conversation” is the topic. What we expect to do in this century; and what are the effects on the city of Los Angeles and its surrounding areas.”

At the end of the year, we will have another “Celebration of Us” the evening of Friday, June 5th. Then our finale will be our 90th graduation on Tuesday, June 9th at the Greek Theater at 5pm.

LACC Community Corner

Last Tuesday we began the detailed planning of our April 25th event with UCLA and Cal State LA. We spoke with representatives on Thursday to coordinate efforts.

Also last Thursday we met with the UCLA-CESMII team to further discuss our partnership.

This coming Thursday, I will be in Sacramento meeting with the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) on the status of our program approval with the BRN.

Have a fabulous week!
