About Our Business Administration, Economics, and International Business Programs & The Industries

In the Business Administration areas, we offer three programs of study: the Associate of Science Degree for Transfer (AS-T), Associate of Arts Degree and a Certificate. All three paths are designed to give the student an extensive background in the principles and practices of the business world. The degree programs offer a more comprehensive curriculum than the certificate program and allow the student to transfer to a four-year university as a Junior.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunities exist in a variety of organizations, including insurance companies, computer manufacturers and government agencies with salaries ranging from $24,000 to nearly $90,000. To prepare the student for the industry environment, our program focuses on the dynamics of international organizations, trade, language, socioeconomic and cultural forces, political and legal issues, and emerging global markets.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The Business Administration program is designed for students seeking positions including administrative assistant or entry-level manager. Those currently employed in offices who are seeking promotions can also benefit from this program.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS & ECONOMICS PROGRAM

Although we currently do not have a degree or certificate program in the International Business and Economics disciplines, all of the courses are part of the required curriculum in either the Associate of Science Degree (AS-T) in Business Administration, Associate of Arts Degree in Management, and various Certificate programs. All paths are designed to give the student an extensive background in the principles and practices of the business world. The degree programs offer a more comprehensive curriculum than the certificate program and allow the student to transfer to a four-year university as a Junior.
