College Success Seminar (3 Units)

Counseling courses are taught by experienced counselors to help students adjust to college, choose a major or program of study, select a career path, transfer to a university, and cultivate learning strategies that will improve academic performance. These life-skills courses provide students with opportunities to increase their potential in their future careers as well as for academic success. These courses are worth from 1 to 3 semester units which are degree applicable (i.e., count towards an Associates degree) and are transferable to the CSU system.

Fall Rush Hours (August 12 to September 6) 

Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 6:30pm
Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Saturday (August 24 & 31): 9:00am - 1:00pm 

Note:
Office closed Friday, August 16 & Thursday, August 22 for staff development training.

Counseling services will be provided via express walk-in between August 12 - September 6.


To clear a prerequisite, bring an unofficial college transcript to the counseling department during walk-in hours.

To change a major and educational goal, you may bring the form to the counseling department during walk-in hours.
