Matriculation: Assessment, Orientation and Counseling
All new students are required to complete Orientation, Assessment and receive an educational plan. See below to how to schedule an appointment in each area.
1. ORIENTATION
All new students must complete orientation. We recommend you complete orientation online using the Student Information System. You may also schedule an appointment for orientation.
2. ASSESSMENT
All new students must complete assessment. The Assessment Office is located in the Student Services Building, on the Second Floor. Visit the Assessment page for information and hours for the Drop-In Center.
Appointments are only required for the ESL test. Appointments can be made in the Assessment Office or click here to schedule a test. All other assessment tests are available on a drop-in basis.
3. COUNSELING
In order to receive a comprehensive Educational Plan, you may schedule an appointment with a counselor. To schedule a 30-minute appointment with a counselor, click hereIn order to use this online system to schedule an appointment for counseling you should have a student identification number (88-XXX-XXXX). Appointments are scheduled in advance, in one week increments.
If there are no appointments at the time of your attempt, please try again the following Monday at 8:00am when the scheduling system refreshes.
