Canvas Training & Info

To teach online Faculty need both Canvas training as well as training in online pedagogy. The two courses, "Introduction to Teaching with Canvas" and “Introduction to Online Teaching & Learning" (fulfills the online pedagogy requirement), are currently being offered free of charge. To access the training courses, go to the Vision Resource Center (VRC)​.

• You can self-enroll in the LACC online training course, “Canvas Basics: Introduction to Teaching Online,” which is contained within an LACC Canvas shell. You will be asked to log into PeopleSoft and will then be brought to the Canvas page and will have the option to click on the “Enroll in Course” button.
