Academic Transcripts

Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) offers a district-wide transcript for all nine (9) colleges (East, City, Harbor, Mission, Pierce, Southwest, Trade, Valley and West) . An official transcript includes a record of all credit and non-credit courses you completed within LACCD from 1974 to present, including earned grades, certificates, degrees and academic honors.

Before ordering an official transcript, we recommend that you view your grades to ensure the accurcy of the information on your transcript.


Request a Transcript Online (Preferred Method)

To request a transcript online, you must pay the transcript fee using a credit or debit card. The National Student Clearinghouse charges a $2.25 convenience fee to process an online order.

If you know your student ID number
  1. Log on to the student portal.
  2. Select "Main Menu" from the left bar menu.
  3. In the "Transcripts & Enrollment Verifications" box, select "LA City students."
  4. Select "Los Angeles City College" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Select the "Submit" button.
  6. You are now on the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) website. Read the information and select the "Order or Track a Transcript" option and carefully follow the instructions for ordering transcripts.
If you DO NOT know your student ID number
  1. Visit the NSC website.
  2. On the home page, select "Order or Track a Transcript" from the "Order-Track-Verify" menu on the top right.
  3. Select "Los Angeles City College" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the "Submit" button.

Read the information and carefully follow the instructions for ordering transcripts.


Request a Transcript by Mail

To request your transcript by mail, download the Transcript Request Form.
Alternatively, you may send a written request, with the following information (print clearly):

  1. Name
  2. Any other names (including spelling variations of your name/s)
  3. Social Security Number and/or college assigned ID number
  4. Mail all transcript requests to:
    Admissions & Records - Transcript Requests
    Los Angeles City College
    855 N. Vermont Ave
    Los Angeles, CA 90029
  5. Date of Birth
  6. Dates of Attendance (to the best of your knowledge)
  7. Number of copies required
  8. Address where transcripts are to be sent (Student is responsible for the correct address.)
  9. Your signature (Your request will be returned if your signature is missing.)
  10. Your current address and phone number

Payment by personal check or money order made payable to "Los Angeles City College"

NOTE: TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS CANNOT BE SUBMITTED BY PHONE AT THIS TIME


Request a Transcript In-Person

You may request a transcript in person at the Admissions and Records Office by completing a Transcript Request Form. Be sure to bring and present a valid photo identification. Once your request is cleared for processing, you will need to pay an transcript fees at the college Business Office.


Enrollment Fee Holds

Requests for transcripts will NOT be accepted until ALL financial obligations with the Los Angeles Community College District are paid, including fees for the current semester.

Transcript Fees

Each student is entiltled to two (2) academic transcripts without charge.

Regular transcript cost $3 each and require 5 to 10 working days of processing time from the day your request is received by Admissions and Records.

Rush transcript cost an additional $7 or $10 per transcript. Students requesting a rush transcript in person may be able to pick-up their transcript. For rush service request by mail, the transcript will be mailed within two (2) working days from the day your request is received by Admissions and Records.

Transcripts for Instructional Television (ITV) or Military Coursework

For overseas military coursework, visit the Los Angeles Mission College Transcripts page or call (818) 364-7773.
