1. Orientation

The purpose of orientation is to acquaint you with the college's programs. Find out about student support services available to all students. Become familiar with LACC grounds and facilities. Know what the academic expectations will be for a successful degree completion and how to access campus procedures and policies.

All first-time students who are non-exempt from the Student Success & Support Program must participate in orientation. Failure to do so will impact your priority enrollment.

Returning students who have been away from the college for one year are more must repeat the orientation.

You may complete orientation online or in-person:

To Complete the Orientation Online

Log in to the Student Information System, and select the "To-Do's List & Holds" tile.

Or, select the "Student Status" tile in the Dashboard, then select "Assessment Placement" and "Orientation".

Please note: you will need a College ID number in order to log in to the online orientation system. (Your College ID number should start with either an 88 or 90)
