The United States Constitution and the American Flag

Constitution Week - Speech Contest

Open from 1:00 - 2:30pm

Who: All LACC registered students are allowed to enter into the contest.

What: The theme for this year is Personal Liberty and Individual Rights. Students should write a persuasive speech related to this year’s theme. Topics should be relevant to the Constitution. Final speeches should be 5-7 minutes in length. Students are encouraged to cite sources during their speeches.

How: To enter the contest, students should submit a 1-2 minute video preview of their speech to constitutiondayspeechcontest@gmail.com no later than 5:00pm on Friday, September 22nd.
They will be notified by Sunday, September 24th at 5:00pm.

When: The contest will take place on Thursday, September 28th from 1:00pm-2:30pm

Where: Holmes Hall 6
