Welcome to LACC's Online Education Department
Online learning at Los Angeles City College is offered online through Canvas, our Learning Management System. Courses may be offered synchronously (with online class meetings at a designated time) and/or asynchronously (no required real-time meetings). Our online courses allow students to earn college credit without coming to campus, while still offering the same quality of instruction found in our face-to-face classes.

Mission Statement
Online Education at Los Angeles City College empowers students from the diverse communities it serves to achieve their educational and career goals by providing pathways to support their completion of associate degrees, certificates, transfer requirements, career and technical education, and foundational skills programs. Online Education strives to meet the needs of all Los Angeles City College's students and provides support for instructors teaching in online modalities.
