LACC Resources for Undocumented Students & DREAMers

Get Involved at LACC

Join and support undocumented students/DREAMers and allies at LACC. Join the IDEAS @ LACC Student Club!

IDEAS stands for Improving Dreams Equality Access and Success

IDEAS was originally founded by a group of university students from the University of California, Los Angeles. Many universities and community colleges have adopted the name throughout California as student clubs for undocumented students and allies.

Members of this club will learn about immigration legislation, collaborate with different clubs at Los Angeles City College, participate in rallies and marches, interact with non-profit organizations such as SALEF, partner up with our sister school’s IDEAS Clubs and Dream Resource Centers, and present knowledge of the AB540 form, Board of Governors Fee Waiver, California Dream Act Application, AB 30, AB 31, AB 60, and much more. But most importantly, members will be able to utilize this knowledge to assist undocumented students on campus to strive academically and financially. In addition, members will advocate for developing a Dream Resource Center at LACC.

Undocumented, Unafraid, Unapologetic!

The IDEAS at LACC student club meets on Tuesdays, from 1:00 - 2:00pm in AD 108 Multicultural Center.
