Why LACC

Transfer Paths to Four-Year Universities

LACC has transfer articulation agreements with the University of California campuses (e.g. UCLA, UC Berkley, UC San Diego), California State University (e.g. CSULA, CSU Long Beach, CSU Northridge), and various prestigeous private universities, including University of Southern California (USC) and Loyola Marymount University (LMU). Many international students successfully complete the first two years of university coursework at LACC and transfer to their desired 4-year universities to earn a Bachelor's Degree. LACC's international counselors, along with Transfer Center counselors and specialists, will assist your successful transfer paths to four-year universities through education planning, application assistance, and connecting you with the right resources. LACC's Ralph Bunche honors students have a 100 percent admittance at USC and a 85 percent admittance at UCLA. Come to ISP and ask about your transfer options!

Cost Effectiveness

By attending the LACC to complete the first two years of your university coursework and then transferring to a university, you will be saving a lot of money. We call this the "2+2 model" (approximately 2 years at LACC + approximately 2 years at a university). Please see the table below for cost comparison:
