ATTENTION PHYSICS STUDENTS:

The following abbreviated descriptions are designed to assist you in making correct course selections to suit your needs and abilities.

•       PHYSICS 11 is a prerequisite for Physics 101.

•      PHYSICS 12 is a non-mathematical survey of physics open to all students, but intended particularly for Liberal Arts majors and those in x-ray technology.

•       PHYSICS 14 is a one unit lab course. Physics 14 taken together with Physics 12, meet the science with a lab transfer requirement.

•       PHYSICS 21. 22 is a two semester sequence of calculus based general physics. Recommended for Life Science majors and premedical students.

•       PHYSICS 101, 102, and 103 is the most intensive sequence offered and is intended for physical science and engineering majors.
