Microsoft Office 365 for LACC Students and Faculty

Install Office 365 on Your Computer

  1. Go to Office.com/GetOffice365
  2. Put in your school-provided email address (ending in @student.laccd.edu for students, or @lacitycollege.edu for faculty).
  3. Follow the prompts to login to Office 365
    a. Your password to login directly on Microsoft’s site is the same one used to access your district email address
  4. Launch Word and sign in with your school provided email address to activate the software
About Microsoft Office 365:

Microsoft Office 365 can be installed on a desktop or laptop computer, or up to 5 devices (PCs, Macs, mobile devices) that you own.

Office 365 provides anywhere-access to familiar Office tools, enterprise-grade email, web conferencing, document management, and business process workflows.

  • You may install Office 365 for those times that Internet is not available or simply for convenience
  • After you login to MSO-365 from the computer you are installing Office 365 onto, follow these steps for installation:
    1. Select the Settings icon Gear in the top-right
    2. Select Office 365 Settings from the drop-down menu
    3. Under Software, select Install and manage software (32bit is recommended)
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
