    Ph.D. in Chemistry 1993 UCLA (Prof. Mostafa El-Sayed, advisor)

    Postdoctoral Scholar 1993-1994, University of Texas at Austin

    Postdoctoral Scholar 1994-1995, UCLA

I have taught at LACC since August 1996.  Prior to teaching here, I taught at L.A. Valley College from 1995-1996.  I have also taught chemistry courses at UCLA from 1996 -2000.  In addition to being department chair since 2006, I am Project shepherd for the new Science & Technology building, due to open Fall 2009.
