Brief Biography: Tracy Hurst has a bachelor's degree in Earth Science and a master's degree in Geography, both from California State University, Northridge.  She has special interests in remote sensing, weather, and arid lands geomorphology.  She regularly attends conferences for the Association of American Geographers and the American Pacific Coast Geographers, and remains a member of the American Geophysical Union and Geological Society of America.  She enjoys teaching, and hopes to bring her joy of geography to her students.
