BOOKKEEPING/ACCOUNTING ANALYSIS & CONCEPTS CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
This is a hands-on course where students learn the process of journalizing, posting, adjusting and closing a set of books for a make-shift business. Students will learn how to use the trial balance sheet. In addition, students will learn horizontal analysis, vertical analysis, trend analysis and how financial ratios are used tin accessing the company’s financial position. Students should bring a calculator to use when doing their analysis. A “Certificate of Completion” will be awarded upon completion of the course. Material fee of $20 payable in class.

Learn the fundamentals of QuickBooks including, navigating the software, setting up a company file, working with Lists, Bank Accounts, entering and paying bills, tracking/paying sales tax and reconciling bank accounts. This is a “hands on” course where students will have access to a computer in class to enter and process data.
