Computer Technology and ELectronics (CTEL)
Los Angeles City College has offered programs in Electronics since the school's beginning and programs in Computer Technology since 1962. LACC was the first community college to offer true hands-on training on live mainframe equipment and the first to offer an Associate in Science degree in Computer Technology.

We are offering a new course in computer technology:
necessary to apply knowledge of security concepts, tools, and procedures
to react to security incidents, and guard against the security risks.
At the end of the course students are prepared for the CompTIA
Security+ certification exam.
