Dance Demonstration and Dance Concert
| DANCE DEMONSTRATIONAt the end of every Spring and Fall Semester the Dance Department picks select pieces and select students from each class to perform in a Dance Demonstration.This Dance Demonstration is held the last Wednesday before finals start at 12:00 noon in the Women's Gym. This is a free concert for all to attend. Next Dance Demo will be Wednesday, May 22nd 2013. Click here for information We also have a Dance Concert held at the Camino Theatre. The performance starts at 8:00 PM with doors opening at 7:30 PM. At this concert a very select number of pieces are performed in a theatre setting. There is a charge for the performance in the theatre. Click on the Next Dance Concert will be Thursday, May 23rd 2013.Click here for information Tickets can be purchased by clicking HERE (if nothing happens when you click HERE tickets may not be available yet) Seating is first come first serve so come early for the best seats! Students are selected for the performances at the discretion of the dance instructors. Not all students nor all pieces may be selected to perform in either the Dance Demonstration or Dance Concert. Likewise, if a student does not want to participate the student is under no obligation to participate. Performing or not performing has no bearing on the student's grade. |
