Part of the Computer Science Department activities is to develop students
programming and problem solving skills by exposing them
to challenging programming problems. Regular programming contest are
held during the semester to allow the student to demonstrate his/her
programming skills. Programming contest covers basic programming concepts and data
structures.
Currently these programming activities are held every Friday from 9am
to 11:30am in room AD 305. Computer Science students are encouraged to
participate in these programming events.
LACC students with programming backgrounds or currently enrollment in a
programming class can show up to the first programming club meeting of the
semester to register. For the Spring 2004 semester, the first
meeting will be held on Friday, February 27 at 9am in room
AD305.
