"TheWebnut" could not function without several wonderful shareware products, one of which is ACDsee, a beautifully designed, powerful and extremely fast graphics viewer.  Highly recommended! Download from here

THIS genius has created an incredible graphics site!  Just viewing his site will motivate you. It's really worth your download time to check out his free "hands-on" instructions on how to do most of what you'll see there.  He is "Doctor Thaddeus Ozone," and to visit him now, just click

Another great site is Ian Lyons' Computer Darkroom, from the U.K. Ian shows you how to use PhotoShop, and other digital imaging programs, in "real life" situations rather than academic minutiae you'll never use.  Also, on his site are excellent unbiased reviews of digital imaging hardware and software.

Speaking of images...Photo Electronic Imaging Magazine magazine's site mirrors much of the contents of each month's issues and provides free digital imaging tutorial downloads and time-saving tricks and shortcuts. PEI is a Professional Photographers of America production.

Toronto Canada is home for one of the most comprehensive sites devoted to the art and technique of landscape photography, The Luminous Landscape. You'll see a gallery of outstanding images as well as instructive feature articles, product reviews and a discussion forum. Highly recommended for everyone, not just landscape photographers. (Schuster's favorite Website)

(American Society of Media Photographers) is one of the most effective and worthwhile organizations for professional photographers.

World Wide Art Resourceis a huge list of international art-related links.

Click to visit the Website and find out more about it.Learning/writing HTML (Web pages), C, Java, DOS, and any other text reading, writing or programming, requires a fast, powerful, reliable and inexpensive text editor.  Note Tab is!  It will do search and replace on batches of files, multiple windows, macros, spell check and many other sophisticated things that even expensive word processing programs don't do. It is so simple to use that you really don't need instructions, but if you do, it's built into the program. If you get stuck, or want additional information, their Website is a great resource.  Try it before you pay for it.  Just click the icon above to download.  Note Tab Lite is free, and still a lot more powerful than Microsoft's Notepad.  It starts out as NoteTab Pro, and after 30 days becomes the Lite version if you do not register it. NoteTab was PC Magazine's 1998 and 1999 Shareware Applications Winner and Tucows rates it "Tucows rated 5 of 5"

Click for Eye Candy graphics special effects filtersNot even Adobe Photoshop comes with all the incredible filters you need to really be creative with your digital images. One of the most powerful, easy to use and least expensive programs is "Eye Candy" by Alien Skin Software.  It's shareware and highly recommended. Check out their Web site for downloads and great examples.

Clip Trakker clipboard managerClip Trakker is another well made shareware software. Your Clipboard holds just one "clip" at a time. Every time you highlight and save to it, the new clip replaces the previous one. Bummer! You could go through many time-consuming complicated steps to save them and then convert them to something useful. Clip Trakker will store all of your text and graphics clips and convert them to a variety of formats, and display your file of clips in thumbnail form, if you choose. Once you use it, you'll depend on it for word processing, graphics and Web production applications, as well as for creating notes to yourself with its own text editor. It's great! Click.

With PrintKey you can capture anything on your monitor from full screen down to a fraction of an icon, and save it in a variety of formats, including jpg, gif and bmp... and you can change brightness, colors, contrast, flip, reverse, etc., etc., AND capture and print with your "Print Scrn" button.
