EE220: Electrical Circuits I picture credit: http://www.freeimages.co.uk Basic circuits analysis will teach you the powerful techniques of circuits analysis from first physical principles. The course covers: Circuit theorems; Nodal and Loop analysis; Operational Amplifiers; Reactive circuits; AC power; Transformers; and Variable Frequency Network Performance. An important part of the course is the lab component where you will become familiar with the use of an oscilloscope and other test equipment. You will also gain experience using industry standard circuit simulation software. Aside from the in-class laboratory exercises, home labs are assigned where you will gain valuable practical experience by performing experiments at home using a component kit. Transfer Units (UC:CSU): 3 Prerequisites: Physics 103 Co-requisite: Mathematics 275 Current Schedule |
