Physical Science 6

pressure gauge, billard balls, and lasers

A combined course designed for majors in Health and Life Sciences, Architecture, and all those needing a one-year course in college physics requiring trigonometry but not calculus. The principal topics are mechanics, heat, and sound.

Transfer Units (UC:CSU): 4

Prerequisite: Physics 11 or high school physics and Mathematics 240 or three years of high school math, including trigonometry.
