Bruce Kolleris an Economics instructor at Diablo Valley College, located in Pleasant Hill, California. He has been a full-time member of the faculty since 1986. He has taught in a variety of disciplines during his time at the college, including Electronics Technology, Physical Science, Social Science, and Economics. He has served as a department chair, as corresponding secretary and then president of the Faculty Senate, as faculty co-chair for the college’s accreditation self study report, and as a member of the district faculty union’s executive board. He has also served as a member of the statewide Educational Policies subcommittee of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges. A longtime advocate for curricular learning communities, he is a member of the steering committee for the California Learning Communities Consortium. This is Bruce’s second time serving as an accreditation visiting team member. |
