Vangie Meneses is currently the Vice President of Student Services & Economic Development at Coastline Community College. She has been in student services higher education for over 30 years. In her varied positions, she has gained extensive experience in administration, organization and coordination; instruction; communication, conflict resolution; and program development and training. She has been privileged to be involved in major recruitment and retention programs with special attention to students from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and cultures.
Ms. Meneses has an MSW from California State University, Sacramento and has completed her work at Fielding Graduate University towards an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership & Change with a Community College concentration. She was awarded a Kellogg Fellowship and has been involved in the Kellogg Community College Leadership Legacy Project, under the Direction of Dr. Bernard J. Luskin.
Ms. Meneses is an ardent advocate of higher education and student access and success. Her commitment has been demonstrated in the various retention and student support programs she has developed and implemented. She has always sought to ensure that students are provided the opportunities and support to learn and the pursue knowledge. |
