ACTING & IMPROVISATION

A CAREER IN VOICE-OVERS

Voices over actors are those unseen individuals who create personality into animated characters, T.V. and radio ads, movie trailers and lots more. In this seminar, voice over actor Aaron Meza will present an overview of this hot industry. You’ll learn how to establish a practice routine at home, get tips on studio etiquette and lingo. Also find out what makes a good demo reel, when to seek out an agent or join a union and how to market yourself. This is not a “hands-on” (voice-on?) training, but you will discover the many possibilities of using your voice to make money and how to get further voice over training. Aaron Meza is a voice over actor, whose voice is heard on numerous commercials, including Taco Bell, Lexus, J.C. Penny, ABC, Subway, Mercury and Fed Ex. Aaron Meza is a member of AFTRA.
