DEC / Focus


DEC screens are requested for you by your supervisor using the
DEC Access Form


To See Your Default Username and Password,


Navigating DEC
  • Insert
    INSERT moves to the first field of the next section.
  • Tab
    TAB moves to next field to the right within a DEC section.
  • Arrows
    Up/Down/Left arrows move one field or line within a DEC section.
  • PageUp / PageDown
    PageUp moves a page up within a DEC section
    PageDown moves a page down within a DEC section

Inquiry Screen
  • F1
    Press F1 to open the Inquiry screen.
  • F3
    Press F3 to close the Inquiry screen.

Printing a DEC Screen
  • Choose the printer: Setup-->Printer.
  • After selecting the printer, you might need to close and open DEC.
  • To print what you see on the DEC screen, press PrtScn.


Printing a DEC Report
  • DEC reports can only be printed to network printers.
  • Request the DEC screen that you need by using the “DEC ACCESS AUTHORIZATION” form.
  • Ask IT to setup your computer to use your network printer.
