How the Voice Mail System Relates to the Email System
  • This section is not applicable to users that do not have a LACC email account.
  • When you get a phone message, it is stored in the school’s email system; specifically in your email’s Inbox folder. You can listen to your phone messages from the Voice Mail system or from the Email system. The phone messages show as attachments to emails with the subject “Message from …”
  • If you move an email containing a phone message from your Inbox folder to another folder such as the Deleted Items folder, the Voice Mail system will not be able to find it--therefore you will not be able listen to it from the Voice Mail system.
  • If you delete a phone message using the Voice Mail System, the email containing the phone message will be automatically moved to the Deleted Items folder.
