ACT
General Studies Transfer Option
This option is
designed for students to complete the general education requirements of the
California State University Certified General Education Plan and the
Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC). This option
allows you the most choices for transfer. When you complete this option you
will have met the lower division general education requirements for most CSU,
UC, and some private colleges and universities. However, completing this
program does not necessarily meet the preparation for certain majors. Some
majors may require additional courses not offered in
ACT. Consult with an
advisor for details. The
ACT General Transfer Option also meets the
requirements for an Associate in Arts Degree (Liberal Arts).
