Scholarship, Career, and Transfer Awareness

November 9th, 10th & 12th
Time:
12:30 – 1:00pm/5-6pm, 1:00 – 2:00pm, & 12:30 – 1:30pm
respectively
Description: The purpose of
the Scholarship and Transfer Awareness week is to assist the LACC student bodies
to learn of the various scholarships, financial aid opportunities and University
transfer assistance that are available to them. Many students may not even
realize that obtaining reward money for their academic achievement is well
within their reach. More importantly, we want to help teach students that
certain scholarships do not require a high GPA. To accomplish this, we will be
offering several workshops. It is our ultimate goal to have encouraged enough
students to take advantage of all the resources that Los Angeles City College
has to offer.
