Once you performed the successful search, Expanded Academic ASAP will present you with the results list (aka citation list), a listing of records displayed in a summary format similar to the screen capture below.
The results list always shows your search strategy at the top of the page.
Right below you will see the link to optional Google search for images related to your search strategy.
Below this is an indication of which citations are on the current page out of the total number (in this case: Citations 21 to 40 of 157). The navigation icons on either side let you go forward or backward one page at a time or jump to the first or last page.
The articles are usually sorted in reverse chronological order. The only exception is relevance search – those results are sorted in relevance order.
Each citation contains a brief description of each retrieved article and below an indicator (Citation, Abstract, Text) telling you what information the database contains for the article:
1. Citation – basic information that
describes the article such as: author(s), title, periodical name, date, page number(s) 2. Abstract – citation plus a brief summary of the article 3. Text – full text of the article online
