Expanded Academic ASAP Tutorial

Subject Search Fall-Back Steps: Misspelled Words

If both, subject guide search and keyword search are unsuccessful, Expanded Academic ASAP will “ask” if you spelled the word correctly by showing you a list of words that are in the alphabetical vicinity, of the misspelled word.
For example, if you misspelled the word schizophrenia and typed schizofrenia, there won't be any matches. Instead Expanded Academic ASAP will display a list of similar words.
You should see the word Schizophrenia, which is the correct spelling. Select a link to use the word in a new search.

term 'Treatment of Schizophrenia' entered in the subject guide search mode

Note: A red dot red dot indicates the word that alphabetically follows the word you typed. You might need to move backward or forward one or more pages to find the word you want.
