Academic Counseling services
are available for all students in the Counseling Center. Experienced,
professionally trained counseling faculty (counselors) work with
students concerning transferring, educational goals, career planning,
choice of college or universities, and other decisions involving a
direction in life. Counselors also help students select and plan their
academic majors, explore educational options and develop specific
plans to meet their transfer and graduation goals. Students should
consult with a College Counselor as soon as possible to make these
plans. Students are
encouraged to make an appointment to consult with a College Counselor
each semester. Appointments should be made in person several days in
advance; however, no appointments are available the first week of the
semester. Walk-in counselors are available to answer quick questions
or to provide emergency help for students.
