Accreditation

Los Angeles City College is a California public, tax-supported community college, officially accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and is fully approved by the board of Governors of the California Community Colleges.  The University of California, the California State Universities, and other colleges and universities give full credit for appropriate courses completed.   Los Angeles City College programs are also accredited by the following agencies: American Dental Association (Dental Laboratory Technician), American Dietetic Association (Dietetic Technicians), American Medical Association (Radiological Technology).
