Each current student properly enrolled in one or more classes at
LACC is given a UIA account. Each UIA account comes with a
username, email account, and password. It is not
necessary to apply for this account, submit paperwork, or do
anything special. The UIA account is created for you automatically
the day after you enroll.
* Only current students have UIA accounts.
* All UIA accounts are automatically generated at the start
of each semester.
* All UIA accounts are automatically deleted at the end of
each semester, even if you are already enrolled in
the following semester.
* The email account comes with 10MB of storage. The maximum email size you can send/received is 2MB.
Make sure to empty your Deleted Items folder to free email space.
* At the end of the semester, if you want to save any of
your emails, you will have to print, forward, or save
them to a different location.
* For the Summer 2008 Semester, deletion of all UIA
accounts is at midnight, Thursday, August 28, 2008.
