Program’s Mission Statement: 
The mission of the University Transfer Center is to meet the needs of students preparing to transfer to a four-year college or university by providing accurate, up-to-date information and a set of coordinated resources, activities, and services that support the transfer process.

Program’s Description: 
Students can file electronic applications, view a monthly calendar of events and representatives’ visits, attend workshops, apply for Transfer Admissions Agreements, attend 4-year campus events, and participate in summer and weekend programs through various universities, as well as through the UCLA Center for Community Colleges Partnerships. Transfer ready students receive immediate counseling & advisement, electronic application assistance, transcript evaluation, and information. University Transfer Admissions Agreements and summer transfer programs experiences applications are available in the Center.

Program Outcomes

  1. University Transfer Center will provide students with the opportunity to meet with representatives from 4-year universities.
  2. By attending a CSU or UC application workshop, student will obtain the knowledge & skills to complete the online application.
  3. University Transfer Center will increase number of students who successfully complete transfer requirements to submit application to a 4-year university.
  4. Student will receive transfer advisement on walk-in basis.
