Text Box: This course provides instruction in simple reading and writing, basic sentence structure, spelling and phonemic correspondences, and verbal communication skills. Students read and listen to dialogues, compose and practice original dialogues, and perform other activities. Emphasis is placed upon general understanding of simple spoken English, clear pronunciation, and correct grammar.

Text Box: The Students learn about the current US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) procedures regarding the citizenship application submission. We help students to have basic oral and written English language skills to successfully complete the citizenship process. The curriculum covers the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, civics, US history, and the structure of federal, state, and local government. Citizenship through English classes are available to develop basic oral and written language skills for non-English speaking students, while introducing basic concepts of US History and Civics. We will also help you with the N-400 application by appointments only.

Text Box: This open-entry Literacy and Civics class will encompass all the content necessary in order to have a functioning understanding of the English language. Students will be exposed to a variety of contexts which will prepare them for encounters in the real world. The exposure in turn, will provide them with basic survival skills and assist them in the immersion into a predominately English speaking society.
