News and Events for the week of January 11

Good Monday Afternoon,

We are in the midst of a very high number of COVID-19 Omicron cases throughout Los Angeles County and there are increases in our District and at LACC. Please remember to wear your surgical grade (blue) masks, socially distance, and remain home if you feel ill. All faculty, students, and staff on campus must wear a surgical mask. We have plenty of surgical masks and Facilities staff will be leaving masks in every area so that everyone can get a new surgical mask each day. We also have plenty of KN95 and N95 masks and face shields, please visit the Sheriff’s Office if you need any of these. The Board of Trustees will be conducting a first read of BP 2900 and determine whether and additional requirements will be added. Stay tuned.

COVID Testing Available On-Campus

Testing Days on our campus are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 2pm at in the Student Union, 1st floor.

Next Monday, January 17, we will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.
