When you watch a movie or a TV show, have you guys ever payed attention to the actor/actresses teeth?
Are their teeth big, square, and perfect with a very bright white color?
Veneer
According to animated-teeth.com:
"Porcelain veneers (also referred to as dental laminates), are wafer-thin shells made out of dental ceramic that is bonded onto the front side of teeth.”
And according to PTC Ness dictionary, "It is a thin covering”
So actually, a veneer is a thin porcelain shell that covers your teeth to look aesthetically beautiful.

How does it work?
First, the dentist preps the tooth to be restored.
Then, the dentist takes an impression of the patients tooth and sends it to the dental laboratory.
Next, a Dental Technologist pours a cast and finishes the dental veneer.
The dental laboratory sends the veneer back to the dentist.
The dentist cements the veneers into place over the patients prepared tooth.
The patient receives a new smile!!
