Blocking rehearsals have begun at the Theatre Academy for Louie Piday's production of Pride and Prejudice! This production opens on May 10th and actors, crew, and costume designers have been hard at work to make a beautiful production.
The play, an adaptation of the Jane Austen novel by Jon Jory, is set in 1813 during England's regency era. About a young girl named Elizabeth and the events of one year that lead to the abandonment of her predisposed prejudice. Along for the ride is her hilarious family filled with silly girls, a crazy mother, and an aloof father who get themselves involved in madness of the acutest kind.
