The Radiologic Technology program provides all the necessary skills to seek employment immediately after passing the licensure examinations. The Radiologic Technology Degree Program at Los Angeles City College prepares you to work as a Radiologic Technologist in the medical field. Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Examination (ARRT) and pursue a Radiologic Technology License in the state of California. The Radiologic Technology Program aligns with Los Angeles City College’s goal of preparing students for a career pathway in a thriving industry.

Program Length: Two years (after completion of required prerequisite and general education courses) After Rad Tech Program Completion: Students will receive all of the following: AS Degree, Certificate of Completion, Fluoroscope Certificate, Venipuncture Certificate
Program Accreditation: Joint Review Committee of Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Awarded accreditation: 8 years - Next review due: July 1, 2026.

The mission of the LACC Radiologic Technology Program is to teach students the technical and interpersonal skills necessary for success as a professional diagnostic medical radiographer.
LACC is launching a new Mammography Programthrough LACC Extension open to current Radiologic Technology students and licensed Radiologic Technologists.
Applications are due by October 18th, Saturday classes begin October 30.
