The IDEAS @ UCLA presents: 

11th Annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference: Dreams Beyond DACA event at UCLA.

This conference is inspired by the IDEAS@UCLA (a service support community) which provide attendees with workshops, networking, learn about legislative updates, an opportunity to become eligible for the annual IYEC Scholarship funded by IDEAS, & MORE! To attend, all participants must RSVP by May 25th.

Dream Resource Center BBQ

LACCD will be hosting a Summer BBQ Fundraiser to support all nine LACCD’s DREAM Resource Centers that support our Undocumented/DREAMer students. This event will provide further growth in supporting the goals of our nine DREAM Resource Centers (DRC’s) but most importantly, it will help to continue expanding our DRC services that provide support to our LACCD students. Also, this event will be honoring founding partner and president of Mitu, Beatriz Acevedo. COME JOIN US!

UCLA Immigration Forum - 3/05/18

The creation of this forum is intended to provide an opportunity for UCLA undergraduate students and the greater Los Angeles community to learn about the challenges facing immigrant youth in light of the elimination of DACA, to advance policy recommendations to UCLA and elected officials on how best to support immigrant youth during this critical time, and guide the UCLA community in advocacy efforts to help support our DACA students and employees during this critical time.
