Application Deadlines

LACC accepts international student applications for Fall and Spring semesters. LACC divides its academic year into two semesters (Fall and Spring):

Estimated Cost and Fees

The estimated cost of expenses shown below are for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters, which you must attend as a full-time student (12 units or more). There are also 2 five-week summer sessions and 1 five-week winter session that you may attend (optional). Please note that if you result in enrolling in more than 12 units and/or attend summer or winter sessions, there will be additional costs. 

Non-resident tuition is currently (as of 06/21/2018) is $251 per unit, and the enrollment fee is $46 per unit, which totals to be $297 per unit for F-1 visa students.

Per LACCD Board Rule 2309.30, international students attending a college in the Los Angeles Community College District under an F-1 visa shall be charged a medical insurance fee equal to the cost of medical insurance purchased by the District on the student’s behalf through the Relations Insurance. Effective Fall 2018, the rates are as follows:

  • Fall/Winter (08/15/18 to 01/31/19): $708.00
  • Spring/Summer (02/01/19 to 08/14/19): $708.00

*Please note that non-resident tuition and other fees are subject to change at any time by the Los Angeles Community College District's Board actions.

Housing fees as well as summer and Winter session fees are not included above. Students may enroll in a maximum of 9 units in each summer and winter session (optional). If you enroll in summer or winter session, SEVIS fee will be charged by the LACCD.
