Due to COVID-19, we are now servicing students online using our ConexED Cranium Cafe virtual conferencing tool.  At the FYE office, we will be using email or our Live Chat function to connect with students this summer. 

Make an Appointment with the FYE Counselors

All students must meet with a FYE counselor at least once in the fall and spring semesters as a requirement for the program. This is a fast and easy way to make future appointments either via Zoom or using Cranium Cafe online conferencing tool. FYE students are only able to scehdule 30 minute appointments only one week at a time. You may meet with us via video chat or telephone call. If appointments are full for that day/week, check the following day as new appointments open up each day. If you need more help, please to go the FYE Lobby (link above).

Speak to a FYE Staff Member in our FYE Lobby!

If you have a question or need some quick help, you will need to go to our FYE Lobby where you will wait until a FYE staff member is able to chat with you. Since we service a high volume of students, we work on a first-come, first-serve basis so be patient.

Disclaimer for FYE Lobby

The FYE Lobby is typically only here to work with current and propsective FYE/SYE students only. If you need asssitance and do not fall within this catagory, please go to the General Counseling website by clicking here. If there are no counselors available at the time you enter or the lobby is locked before getting in, you will be expected to come back at a later date. There will be a red message letting you know the current availability within the lobby. Lastly waiting in the lobby does not guarantee you an opportunity to speak to a counselor or FYE staff member. During COVID-19, counselors and staff are pulled into different meetings without notice so please be patient when trying to connect with us. 

Meet with our FYE Financial Aid Technician 

Here in FYE, we are fortunate to have a great relationship with the Financial Aid office. Once a week, one of their technicians will be in the FYE Lobby assisting students with their financial aid questions. You must have been or currently part of the FYE or SYE program to access this benefit. Follow the steps below to find out how to connect with them.

Details: Every Monday from 1: 00PM - 2:30PM

  1. Go to the FYE Lobby (link above in the blue box)
  2. Select the reason code " Financial Aid Quick Question" 
  3. Wait until you are picked up by our FYE Technician  

Meet with Your FYE & SYE Success Coach

Every student in FYE has a Success Coach who is a main contact for them. Students are expected to meet with their Success Coach at least once a semester. In order to find out who your Success Coach is, please read your emails that are sent out to you by your Success Coach.
