The Transfer Center is providing in-person and virtual services. You may connect with a staff member during virtual lobby hours by clicking "Drop-in Lobby" icon from above or during in-person office hours.  Please check left side panel of the homepage for office hours.

Chat with a Transfer Success Coach, Student Worker or Student Services Assistant to obtain information on transfer services and events, ask quick questions, schedule an academic counseling appointment, or connect with a transfer counselor.

UC Application

UC application is now open for fall 2022 transfer!!!

(UC application filing period is November 1-30, 2021)

Important Reminders

  • Don’t send official transcripts when you apply.
  • UC does not require (nor read) letters of recommendation at the time of application. A select number of majors at some campuses may request them later as part of a supplemental review.
  • Transfer applicants must provide responses to the Personal Insight Questions (4 short-answer prompts).

Personal Insight Questions 

Transfer applicants must answer one required question, and select 3 additional questions out of 7


  • Transfer Counseling: Limited transfer counseling appointments for transcript evaluations, education plans and graduation petitions are available for students who have completed a minimum of 24 transferable semester units.
  • University Application Assistance: Transer Center staff provide support and assistance with admissions and supplemental applications.
  • Annual Transfer Day: Every fall the Center organizes a college Transfer Day with representatives from local and out-of-state universities.  
  • Virtual Workshops: Presentations on a variety of topics including Transfer Requirements, Admissions Applications, and Transfer Guarantee available throughout the year.

Program Outcomes
  1. The Transfer Center will provide students with the opportunity to meet with representatives from 4-year universities.
  2. By attending a CSU or UC application workshop, students will obtain the knowledge and skills to complete the online application.
  3. The Transfer Center will increase the number of students who successfully complete transfer requirements and submit applications to a 4-year university.
  4. Students will receive transfer advisement on a walk-in basis.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Transfer Center is to meet the needs of students preparing to transfer to a four-year college or university by providing accurate, up-to-date information and a set of coordinated resources, activities, and services that support the transfer process.
