Student Services Are Now Offered Online

The campus will remain closed until further notice, please do not attempt to visit the office in person.

You can live chat with a representative from this office using the information at the bottom of this page, or by visiting the Online Student Services Building. Please note that some services are still in the process of being moved online (including access to campus phone extensions and voicemail) and will vary by office.

Additionally, we are working to implement telephone and video appointments so that we can offer students transfer services that were previously available in-person. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Transfer Center will close at 12:30pm on Thursday, May 28 due to staff professional development.

TRANSFER CENTER RESOURCES & SERVICES:

  • Advising & Counseling: General information and advising is available on a walk-in basis. Limited transfer counseling appointments may also be available. (Please call or visit office for availability.)
  • Application Assistance: Get help with admissions and supplemental applications.
  • College Brochures: Review printed pamphlets and flyers with information for CSU, UC, and private colleges.
  • Workshops: Presentations on a variety of topics including UC/CSU Transfer Requirements, Admissions Applications, and the UC Personal Insight & Transfer Guarantee are available throughout the year.*
  • Representatives Visits: College representatives from various four-year colleges and universities visit the Center to provide one-on-one advising to LACC students.*
  • Annual Transfer Day: Every fall the Center organizes a college Transfer Day with representatives from local and out-of-state universities.

Program Outcomes
  1. The Transfer Center will provide students with the opportunity to meet with representatives from 4-year universities.
  2. By attending a CSU or UC application workshop, students will obtain the knowledge and skills to complete the online application.
  3. The Transfer Center will increase the number of students who successfully complete transfer requirements and submit applications to a 4-year university.
  4. Students will receive transfer advisement on a walk-in basis.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Transfer Center is to meet the needs of students preparing to transfer to a four-year college or university by providing accurate, up-to-date information and a set of coordinated resources, activities, and services that support the transfer process.
