Good Monday Morning,

The Emerging Technology Boot Camp is now open to all LACC students. The Boot Camp is open to all majors, and they are seeking students who are working towards an AA degree or transferring to a 4-year university. This is an 8-week summer program, beginning July 2nd and ending on August 20th. Class meets online every Tuesday evening. Students receive a $1600 stipend for participating in the program and for presenting in-person on August 20th. Students will utilize the Google Design Thinking framework and learn professional skills in UI/UX, project management, product development, team communication, and more. This Wednesday evening, we will be holding our CTE Spotlight Awards, celebrating excellence and innovation in Career and Technical Education at LACC. The event will be held at Sofi Stadium Corona Beach House at 6pm. The awards recognize outstanding achievements and contributions in the field of Career and Technical Education. We will be recognizing students, faculty, staff and industry partners. For more information, contact Alexus Medina at @email.

Summer and Fall priority enrollment begins today! EOPS students can cut to the front of the line and be the first to enroll in classes. Summer session begins June 10.
