As an educator, I see the importance in professional development and serving others. First generation college student born and raised in Los Angeles I truly understand importance of college and how it can change your life. My career began 19 years ago as a student worker at Los Angeles Mission College well attending college I had the privilege to have mentors help me pave my educational and career pathway. As cancer survivor i truly believe that you can knock down any obstacles that come your way.
I currently serve as the Faculty Coordinator for Cooperative Education Work Experience, as well as the Economic Workforce Development/Employer Engagement Liaison with our Career Center. Serving the community and providing students with a career opportunities an gain valuable work experience is my number one priority.
